Horse Trade Theater Group Presents T-O-T-A-L-L-Y!, 12/9

Horse Trade Theater Group (Heidi Grumelot, Artistic Director, Erez Ziv, Managing Director) will present a one night only special engagement of Kimleigh Smith's 2010 FRIGID New York Festival hit solo show, T-O-T-A-L-L-Y! which recently played to sell-out crowds at the New York, Orlando, and Los Angeles Fringe Festival's. Winner of the Best Theater and Best One Person Show in the Hollywood Fringe 2010, Editor's Pick in the Washington Post 2011, George Wallace Fabby Award at Orlando Fringe 2010 also winner of the Actor's Group Solo Festival 2010.

This autobiographical one-hour show takes the audience through a journey that is uplifting, heartbreaking and powerful as they witness the story of Smith as a young cheerleader as she transform into a powerful woman who embraces her inner superhero, reclaims her sexuality and lives as a whole, healthy woman who cheers for life! Writer/performer Kimleigh Smith says, "You must be willing to sacrifice who you are for what you want to become. That's what "T-O-T-A-L-L-Y!" is really all about."

The production will receive a one night return engagement on Sunday, December 9 at 7pm in The Red Room (85 East 4th Street between 2nd Avenue and Bowery). Tickets ($15, $10 students & seniors) are available online at www.horseTRADE.info or by calling Smarttix at 212-868-4444.

HORSE TRADE THEATER GROUP is a self-sustaining theater development group; with a focus on new work that has produced a massive quantity of stimulating downtown theater. Horse Trade's Resident Artist Program offers a home to a select group of Independent theater artists, pooling together a great deal of talent and energy. It is also the home of FRIGID New York – the first and only festival of its kind in New York City. In 2011 Horse Trade received the New York Innovative Theatre Ellen Stewart Stewardship Award for demonstrating a significant contribution to the Off-Off-Broadway community through service, support and leadership.
