Galli Theater Opens New Home with THE UGLY DUCKLING Today
The Galli Theater will premiere its new show in its new theater home! The company will be moving into The Gloria Maddox Theater and is set to open today, October 4th with THE UGLY DUCKLING. The Gloria Maddox Theater is located at 151 W 26th St #7, NY, NY 10001.
Premiering today, October 4th and running weekends the entire month of October, The Ugly Duckling is a play filled with dance and music. An swanling finds itself amongst a duck family and realizes it just doesn't fit in. It goes on the search for friendship and belonging. On the way it meets up with different animals and tries to dance to the beat of the different drums. In the end, this case of mistaken identity is cleared up, when two swans embrace the swaddling as friend and family.
Appropriate for children ages 3 and 7, the show is and filled with music and song delighting audiences young and old. As with all of Galli Theaters show, The Ugly Duckling is interactive, giving the young audience a chance to engage the characters in the performance. All shows are at 2pm, and the box office opens a half an hour before the show.About Galli Theater - Galli Theater has been serving families for over 25 years.
