Food For Thought, the award-winning theatre company, is excited to announce the opening of its spring series at its new home, the Beckett Theatre at Theatre Row.

To kick off the new season on THURSDAY, APRIL 19th are Tony Award nominees and FFT regulars, PENNY FULLER and TONY ROBERTS. They will star in "ASHES TO ASHES" by Nobel prize winning playwright, HAROLD PINTER, directed by ANTONY MARSELLIS. The London premiere at the Royal Court in September 1996 was directed by Harold Pinter.

“Ashes to Ashes” begins with two characters, a husband and wife, who say nothing at first. But when they do begin to speak the room is filled with mystery, questions and haunting images and echoes from the past.

Fuller and Roberts played a wife and husband before, who were facing the fact that marriage was not always blissful, in fact it was filled with conflict and duress. The time was 1965 and the nature of the conflict was strikingly different— the play was Neil Simon's "Barefoot in the Park" at the Biltmore Theatre.

Food for Thought is a weekly series of one-act plays by award-winning writers performed by an alternating repertory of Broadway stars. The series was created by writer Susan Charlotte in order to provide a home for the oft neglected short form.

Ticket prices range from $40 to $65.
