Physicians with God-complexes, domestic abuse, high school shootings, reality TV, and pharmaceutical salesmen: Welcome to GREENDALE, G.P.

Brad Saville's latest play takes a hard-hitting, satirical look at the absurdity of the American medical industrial complex, the pompousness of our physicians, the pill-popping populace, the bankruptcy of American culture, and contemporary values. Bring your insurance card and please come twenty minutes early.

Eastwind Theatre Company presents GREENDALE, G.P., written and directed by Brad Saville.

GREENDALE, G.P. features Carmel Amit (Ang Lee's Taking Woodstock), Sam Antar (Player's Theatre's Uncle Vanya), William Apps (The Amoralists' Amerasiah), Penny Bittone (20 Feet Productions' Beckett), Amber Bogdewiecz (Zenbaby Theatre Company's Land of the Babydolls), Anne Fidler (Eastwind's Two Rooms in Davis), Tyler Foltz (Upright Citizens Brigade), Anna Lamadrid (Wreckio's Rooftops), David Marcus (Theater for the New City's Artf*ckers), Zoe Metcalfe-Klaw (Blue Box Production's No One Gives Goats to the Homeless), James Pravasilis (Foolish Mortals‘ Titus Andronicus), and Paul Weissman (Point of You Productions' Love and Israel).

Brad Saville is the writer and director of the feature film Williamsburg and full-length plays Two Rooms in Davis and Monkey Trick in addition to several short-plays. His short, Yermo Blues, was recently published in the NY Theater Review 2009.

GREENDALE, G.P. runs from August 27th to September 13th, 2009 on Thursdays through Sundays at 8pm and on Saturday, August 29th at 2 pm at the Access Theater at 380 Broadway, #4 (corner of White Street). Admission is $20 or $15 for seniors and students with valid student IDs.

Eastwind Theater Company was founded in 2007 by Artistic Director, Penny Bittone and Managing Director, Brad Saville, in order to engage and serve our employers, the audience, while celebrating and exploring the aesthetic of the New American Theatre.
