Even Maybe Tammy (Or, a Cockamamie Bucket of Ruckus is a riff on commedia dell arte conceived by director Christopher Bayes and students from the 2009 class of Yale School of Drama’s acting program. Even Maybe Tammy (Or, a Cockamamie Bucket of Ruckus erupts with nutty songs, madcap situations and all the rest of this ensemble’s downright silly and sweet imaginings.The Company includes Eric Bryant*, Laura Esposito*, Carter Gill*, Sisi Aisha Johnson*, Alex Knox*, Teresa Avia Lim*, Christopher McFarland*, Barret O’Brien*, Luke Robertson*, Erica Sullivan*, and Alex Teicheira*.

Christopher Bayes began his theater career with Theatre de la Jeune Lune where he spent five years as an actor, director, composer, designer and artistic associate. From 1989 to 1995, Bayes was a member of The Acting Company at the Guthrie Theater for twenty productions over seven seasons. In 1993 produced his one-man show This Ridiculous Dreaming based on Heinrich Boll’s novel The Clown.Directing: Juilliard, NYU’s Graduate Acting, NYU’s Experimental Theater Wing, Fordham, HERE, P.S. 122, Present Company Theatorium, Dixon Place. Regionally: Touchstone Theater, Brown, Intiman Theater, Court Theater, Trinity Rep, Idaho Shakespeare Festival, Yale Rep. Movement Director and part of the Creative Team for The 39 Steps on Broadway. Upcoming, Bayes will direct The Servant of Two Masters at Yale Repertory Theatre in 2010. In 1999/2000, Bayes was a Fox Fellow.Teaching: Cirque Du Soliel, Williamstown Theatre Festival, Public Theater, Juilliard, Actor's Center, Academy for Classical Acting, NYU’s Graduate Acting, Clinical Professor of Theater/Speech/ Dance at Brown, Director of Movement/ Physical Theater at Brown/Trinity Consortium.
