CIRCLE OF SHIT: A New Play By Nathan Dennis Announced At Dixon Place
Dixon Place Presents: Circle of Shit.
Inspired by Dante's vision of Hell, Circle of Shit is a dark, philosophic comedy about a group of sinners' descent through The Inferno.
Hell opens on Joanna completing an audit of the third Circle of Hell, a river of shit where Fidelis serves as caretaker. When these two souls accidentally break the levees of the river and release the gluttonous Estelle onto the banks, the audit quickly devolves into a deconstruction of damnation and ultimately a quest for freedom, truth, a lost husband, and the devil himself.
