A man and a woman wake up in bed together and neither can remember how they got there. Or who the other is. In the harsh light of the morning after, they attempt to make sense of what may or may not have happened between them and a complex snapshot of modern relationships gradually comes into focus. RIDE charts the difficulties of achieving real intimacy in our sexually liberated times.

RIDE marks the US premiere of acclaimed playwright Jane Bodie, who captured the attention of the Royal Court and the National with this play when it premiered at the Edinburgh Festival. The Daily Mail called RIDE a "wonderful, life affirming play..." The Irish Times called it "As cerebral as it is sexual...both funny and stunningly lyrical. Honest, human and true..."

This romantic whodunit stars Jeremy Waters and Melissa Chambers.

Jane Bodie (playwright) is a playwright, screenwriter and theatre director. She currently lives in the UK and spends significant time each year in Australia. Her play RIDE received outstanding reviews during the 2002 Edinburgh Festival Fringe after a sold-out season at Belvoir St Theatre in Sydney the same year. Tony-award winning Fox Theatricals has optioned the film rights to RIDE. Jane was short-listed for the Ewa Czajor Memorial Award in 2000 for her work as an emerging director. In 2003 she was nominated for the Patrick White Playwright's Award. She has been one of the writers on the Sydney Theatre Company's Blue Prints Literary Program. She has recently worked at the Royal Court Theatre with the Young Writers Programme and is now an attachment to the National. Her play A Single Act premiered at the Hampstead Theatre and had its Australian premiere at the MTC in 2006. It won the 2007 Victoria Premier's Award for Best Play.

Nick Flint (director) was born and raised in Sydney, Australia and fortunate enough to attend a Rudolph Steiner School, began acting at age 6. He attended Charles Sturt University with a scholarship, graduating with a Bachelor's degree in Acting in 1997. For two years following, Nick worked as a juggler of dangerous implements on the streets of Sydney and on TV. This future seemed unsteady, so he returned to acting in 2000 and has performed with the major Australian state theatre companies, including the Sydney Theatre Co. in The Shape of Things and Melbourne Theatre Co. in The Recruit. Nick has sustained regular roles on the TV dramas Home & Away, All Saints, and Love Bytes; and has played major roles in the Australian feature films Ned and The Tumbler and a highly forgettable role in the US feature Dynasty: The Making of a Guilty Pleasure. Between 2000 and 2002 he was an ensemble member of the physical comedy troupe Urban Tales who devised and performed sketch comedy in clubs and pubs. He was drawn to New York in 2006 to train with the SITI company. In New York, Nick has worked with One Year Lease on Iphigenia Crash Land Falls..., Bed, and Death and the Maiden (NYC and Athens productions); and performed in 967 Tuna with the Australia Project. With his own production company, Nick has produced and directed a variety of film and TV projects and was recently been named Associate Artistic Director with One Year Lease Theater company.
