Antony Raymond's ELSINORE COUNTY Plays Theatre Row's Lion Theatre, Now thru 7/3

By:

After a wildly successful workshop production, Daniel Neiden and Peter O'Connor will present AnTony Raymond's comedy Elsinore County. Performances will begin tonight, June 20 and will celebrate its opening on Monday, June 24, running through July 3 at Theatre Row's Lion Theatre (410 West 42 Street). Tickets are $19.25 and can be purchased by visiting www.Telecharge.com. or by calling 212.239.6200.

Spoiled hipsters and desperate housewives reside in Elsinore County, Raymond's mash up comedy that pairs Shakespeare's Hamlet with an Aaron Spelling twist. This theatrical romp runs the gamut from Tele Novellas to rich dramatic (over) action that would make the WB proud. According to the show's producers, this season finale of ElsinoreCounty is a "MUST SEE" of the theatrical season.

The cast of Elsinore County includes: Sara Antkowiak (#HERO), Benjamin Bauman (Moonlight and Magnolia, Isn't It Romantic), Nick Hetherington (Our Country is Good; The Man Who Would Be King), Christopher McMahon (The Awesome '80s Prom; The Roberto Clemente Story), Daniel McVey (The Ghosts of 14th), JJ Pyle (Biting Personalities), Catherine Ryan (Our Lady of the Tortilla), Gonzalo Trigueros (Cool Cats, The Letter), Jeremy Vos (South Pacific; The Crucible), and Eric Wdowiak (Gin and Milk, Go-Go). The EC creative team includes: Set Design: Mark Symczak; Lighting Design: AJ Dobbs; Costumes: Necessary Objects; Original Music: Daniel Neiden; Chorography: Sara Antkowiak; Production Stage Manager: Austin McDonald-Scott; General Manager: Laura Gosheff.

AnTony Raymond's (writer/director) produced NYC works include Gin and Milk; The Autobiography Of A Guy Who Knew Me (Part One); Elsinore County; and Yeah, I Met This Girl. Off-Broadway Acting Credits include Fools In Love, The Tempest, The Jew Of Malta and A Midsummer Night's Dream. Regionally, Tony has worked at NJPAC, BAMHarvey Theater, and El Museo Cultural in Santa Fe. He's studied with Uta Hagen, Austin Pendleton, and Barry Edelstein.
