'ASTONISHING ADVENTURES' to Play Final Performance at the Brick, 6/25

Charles Battersby & The Brick Theater, Inc. present The Astonishing Adventures of All American Girl & The Scarlet Skunk. "Astonishing Adventures" is a play that celebrates the history of comic books and super-heroic radio shows. Playing this June in Brooklyn New York.

Turn up the radio and get your decoder rings ready! "Astonishing Adventures" is a pulse-pounding tale of romance, comedy and action inspired by 1940's comic books and radio dramas. Thrill to the adventures of All American Girl and her plucky sidekick The Scarlet Skunk as they wage a two-fisted battle against injustice!

Is post-war America ready for a "Lady Crime-fighter" and a cross-dressing vigilante? Will they find love on the rooftops of New York City? Find out in a tale unlike anything you have witnessed before!

Written & directed by Charles Battersby, staring Alex Gray as All American Girl, and Charles Battersby as The Scarlet Skunk. Featuring: Mario Bueno, Tim Carney, Ariana Fekett, Len Rella, Ariella Segal, Vincent Thomas Vok and Jere Williams.

The final performance is set for Wednesday June 25 at 9pm at The Brick, 579 Metropolitan Avenue, Brooklyn, one block from the L train Lorimer stop / G train Metropolitan stop. Tickets available at www.bricktheater.com and OvationTix online or by calling 212.352.3101 ($18).
