Amanda and Matthew met at the Peoples Improv Theater in NYC a couple years before joining forces. In 2014, with a few odd projects under their shared belt, they decided to start working together regularly and producing shows as Rotten Apple!Rotten Apple has been all around, with shows at the PIT, a run in the 2016 FRIGID Festival and as part of the 2016 Penn Station Area Sketch Festival. We've also been featured on WeMakeTheFunny.com!

Outside of producing content for Rotten Apple Amanda has traveled as far as The Orlando Fringe Festival with her one woman show I'm Just Kidneying. She has been a performer at the SoloCom Festival in New York three consecutive years in a row. Amanda has performed and written for a variety of shows produced at The People's Improv Theater including SKTCH SHW, Electoral Dysfunction, Ladies of the PIT, and David Carl's Road to the Whitehouse: A Donald Trump Rally. Amanda has also directed for Emerging Artists New Works Series, taught with Naked Angels Theater company, and created web/app content for Marvel Entertainment, Dynamite! and Nattr.

She has studied at Upright Citizens Brigade, The People's Improv Theater, Stella Adler Studio, LAByrinth Theater and holds a BA in Theater from the University of North Carolina Greensboro. Follow her @TheLastAmanda

Matthew K Sears is a New York comedian and improviser originally from Maine. He has been writing and performing with Amanda as Rotten Apple for four years, as well as doing stand-up, improvising, and producing videos on his own. You can see him every month at the PIT Loft as part of the Campaign and find some of his videos at Cancel Into Super on YouTube.

Chris Booth is a NYC based actor, comedian, and storyteller. Chris' TV work includes National Geographic's Brain Games as well as being the co-creator, writer, and co-star of the Spike TV pilot Punching the Midget and the Travel Channel pilot Ultimate Fan Pass. Chris' stage work includes the Off-Broadway hit Awesome 80's Prom(Beef/Snelgrove) and Born Without Clothes (Carl). Chris is also the co-creator, writer, and co-star of the award-winning sketch comedy group City Hall; which was called "Hilarious" by the Sarasota Herald Tribune and given "a whopping 5 out of 5 stars" by Improvisation News. He has performed improvisation at the Upright Citizen's Brigade, the People's Improv Theater, the Magnet, and has toured with the National Comedy Theater.
