Theater Resources Unlimited (TRU) announces TRU Meet the Coaches, a virtual event on Saturday, April 4, 2026 from 2-6pm. The event is free for all actors who apply to the TRU ACT26, $35 for all others (fee can be applied to ACT26 registration). Visit https://truonline.org/events/meet-the-coaches-2026/ for more information and to register, or email TRUActors@gmail.com with questions. You must register to receive a link to this event.

We want all actors to do their best at our audition, and all auditions. And we firmly believe that even the most experienced actor needs an outside eye to help shape their audition pieces. Trust us – the room can tell who has been coached and who hasn't. That's why we offer this annual opportunity for you to meet a lineup of recommended coaches who want nothing more than to make you shine! Monolog and music coaches, wellness coaches and a photographer talk about their methods, acting techniques and tips for landing that role. Then you'll have the opportunity to meet each in a one-on-one conversation.

Don't miss out! This is the first of three workshops that are part of TRU's Audition Conference for Theater 26, and a great start on the path to the TRU Auditions on May 2nd and 3rd. Your registration fee gets you into this, our TechSmart workshop to guide you in virtual auditioning, and an Audition Technique and Protocol Workshop with casting director Helene Galek and the audition weekend. There will also be Friday Community Gathering conversations about acting, free for all actors. Note that early bird pricing for ACT26 is in place until after the Meet the Coaches workshop, so TRU recommends that you register now, in time for Meet the Coaches. For full details visit https://truonline.org/events/virtual-audition-conference-2026/.

All actors are welcome and STRONGLY encouraged to attend. Of course, we give priority spots to anyone registered for the TRU ACT26 (even if you haven't been passed in officially), but all actors are welcome to Meet the Coaches.
