Frank Vlastnik is joining the cast of I Love You, You're Perfect, Now Change on Monday, October 1, replacing Jim Stanek who will be going into rehearsals for Off-Broadway's Frankenstein.  Vlastnik will join cast members Anne Bobby, Bryan McElroy and Amy White in the love-happy hit musical, which is now playing in its 12th smash year at the Westside Theatre (407 West 43rd Street).

Frank Vlastnik appeared as the "Snail with the Mail" in Broadway's A Year With Frog and Toad.  He also appeared on Broadway in Sweet Smell of Success and Big, and his Off-Broadway credits include Stephen Sondheim's Saturday Night.  Frank is the co-author of "Broadway Musicals: The 101 Greatest Shows of All Time," now in its fourth printing, and "Sitcoms," due this October.

The hilarious I Love You, You're Perfect, Now Change surpasses dozens of long-running Broadway shows, having played more than 4,500 performances; and is the second longest-running Off-Broadway musical of all time after The Fantasticks.

Additional productions of I Love You, You're Perfect, Now Change have been mounted in more than 400 cities worldwide including Los Angeles, Toronto, Boston, Chicago, London, Tel Aviv, Mexico City, Barcelona, Amsterdam, Budapest, Sydney, Prague, Seoul, Milan, Rio de Janeiro, Johannesburg, Dublin, Buenos Aires, Berlin, Hong Kong, Shanghai, and Beijing.

"I Love You, You're Perfect, Now Changecelebrates the modern-day suburban mating game.  Audiences fill the theatre with laughter as the cast explores the joys of dating, romance, marriage, lovers, husbands, wives, and in-laws," explain press notes, "It is also the most proposal-friendly show in town. Fifty-five times, a young man has taken the stage to make a surprise proposal to his sweetheart. In all cases, the brides-to-be happily accepted as the audience roared with approval."

The show is written by playwright/lyricist Joe DiPietro and composer Jimmy Roberts.  Directed by Joel Bishoff.

Performances are Monday and Tuesday at 7PM, Wednesday at 2:30PM, Friday at 8PM, Saturday at 4PM & 8PM, and Sunday at 3PM & 7PM.  Box office: (212) 239-6200. Group sales: (212) 391-2434. www.LovePerfectChange.com
