Toy Box Theatre Company Presents 'TIS PITY SHE'S A WHORE 9/26 Through 10/16

Toy Box Theatre Company presents 'TIS PITY SHE'S A WHORE September 26 - October 16 at Teatro Iati (64 E. 4th Street). 'TIS PITY SHE'S A WHORE is written by John Ford, and adapted by Toy Box Theatre Company.

"Explosive passions and paranoia among the rich and elite. A forbidden sibling love turns fatal. There's comedy. There's incest. There's blood. Toy Box's sleek adaptation of this classic play, scored with live, original music by Brooklyn-based rockers Colonna Sonora, explores the boundaries of desire and morality in a society where appearance and social status rule."

The cast features John Buxton, Ryan Colwell, Sarah Hankins*, David Michael Holmes*, Chris Keogh*, Andrew Krug, Michael Nathanson*, Jessica Rothenberg, Zenon Zeleniuch*.

The production features direction by Jonathan Barsness and music direction by James Sparber. Ryan Colwell & David Michael Holmes produce the production.

'TIS PITY SHE'S A WHORE will see sets by Gian Marco Lo Forte, lights by Simon Cleveland, costumes by Jennifer Paar, fights by Wyatt Kuether, graphics by Bianca Barattini, marketing by Amy Caramante and stage management by Sara Troficanto.

James Sparber, Brady Bagger and Christian Serramalara are the musicians for the show.

Tickets are priced at $15 when purchased in advance on the website. Tickets are $18 at the door.
