The Snapple Theater Center Announces NYE Performances

Are you still trying to figure out how to spend New Year's Eve? How about coming to Times Square to watch someone fall in love or kill her husband? The Snapple Theater Center in the heart of Times Square at the corner of 50th Street and Broadway will offer theater lovers a fun option on New York's biggest party night by holding special New Year's Eve performances of The Fantasticks, the longest-running musical in the world, and Perfect Crime, the longest-running play in the history of New York theater.

Audiences who take advantage of the offer will enjoy free champagne and soda before the show and during intermission, and will then be able to join the crowd in Times Square. Mayor Michael Bloomberg celebrated New Year's Eve at The Snapple Center in 2008. Now it's your turn!

About The Fantasticks
Now starring pop sensation Aaron Carter, The Fantasticks is a romantic comedy about a boy and girl who fall in and out of love at the hands of their meddling fathers. The audience uses its imagination to follow the handsome narrator, El Gallo, as he creates a world of moonlight and magic until the boy and girl find their way back to one other. The score, which includes the hit songs "Try To Remember," "They Were You" and "Soon It's Gonna Rain," is as timeless as the story itself.

About Perfect Crime
A funny, sexy thriller about a woman who may or may not have killed her handsome, mysterious husband, the detective who is trying to solve the crime and a loveable serial killer....fans of Law & Order, CSI, Forensic Files and Hitchcock films will enjoy figuring out who did what to whom in a fast moving, entertaining two hours.

Both performances begin at 8 PM, allowing plenty of time to get a great spot to watch the ball drop-or to escape Times Square!
