The Collective - We are comprised of over thirty producing members, most graduates of the William Esper Studio. We have begun this collective in the hopes of generating and focusing artistic work based in truth, in lieu of the financial return of most commercial theater, film and new media being produced today.

Our Mission Statement:
"We are a collective of artists, descendants of The Group Theatre, charged with the responsibilities of exploring and producing work that is rooted in truth, and cultivating an artistic home safe from the pressures of commercialism. To reach a broad spectrum, we align ourselves with emerging artists of all disciplines to create a unique body of work through a communal effort. It is our belief that artistic expression should be as essential to the American public as breathing, and through it we intensify our understanding and desire to live."

"True North" an Evening of One-Acts, "Lila on the Wall" and "Dolores", presented by Special Arrangement with Edward Allan Baker

Lila on the Wall - A reporter and her camera man on a night during what may be the best or last report of her career, and possibly the most important night of her life.

Dolores - Sandra is home alone, enjoying her weekly break from her husband and kids, when her older sister Dolores shows up with a black eye, courtesy of the latest in her string of bad husbands. It becomes clear that Dolores is unwelcome, because she's an explicit reminder of the brutality Sandra tries to overlook in her own apparently comfortable life. A drama/comedy with the rough Rhode Island demeanor like The Sopranos and the irreverence of Laverne & Shirley. In the author's own words, it's "the story of two sisters drawn together because of domestic violence which influences the lives of both characters more than they've ever admitted."
