Tune in to PBS on Wednesday, September 17, at 8:00 (check local listings for details) to see Live From Lincoln Center's telecast of the New York Philharmonic's Opening Night Gala concert, live from Avery Fisher Hall.

This performance, which will be simulcast on WQXR 96.3 FM, features flutist Sir James Galway, who joins music director Lorin Maazel and the orchestra for a performance of Ibert's Flute Concerto in a program that also includes Berlioz's Roman Carnival Overture and Tchaikovsky's Symphony No. 4.
