Signature Theatre Announces Seasonal Special Events
Signature Theatre will host several special events at The Pershing SquareSignature Center (480 West 42nd Street between 9th and 10th Avenues) this fall, the company announced today.
Sig Socials: Trick or Trivia
Sig Socials are free parties at The Pershing Square Signature Center. On Friday, October 26 at 9:00PM, Signature will host the second annual Sig Socials: Trick or Trivia. Bring a team or just bring yourself to enjoy Halloween-themed trivia questions, food, and drink specials at the Signature Cafe + Bar. Prizes include theatre tickets, food and beverage certificates, and reservations to local restaurants. Costumes are encouraged! Catch a 7:30pm performance of Thom Pain (based on nothing) beforehand, or just show up for trivia and a drink.
Signature Spotlight Series
The Signature Spotlight Series will present talkbacks and behind-the-scenes programs in connection with Signature Theatre's new production of Thom Pain (based on nothing). Signature Spotlight Series is sponsored by American Express.
Members of the Thom Pain Design Team will participate in a free discussion on Thursday, November 1 following the 7:30PM performance of Thom Pain (based on nothing). Playwright Will Eno and director Oliver Butler will participate in a discussion prior to the 7:30PM performance on Wednesday, November 7. Talkbacks with members of the creative team will also take place following the October 30, November 15, and November 20 performances.
Sig Socials and Signature Spotlight Series events are free and open to the public. Tickets to Signature Productions are not required to attend.
Accessible Performances
Signature Theatre is committed to providing an enjoyable theatre-going experience for all patrons. The Pershing Square Signature Center is wheelchair accessible. In addition, Signature Theatre provides assisted listening devices and offers open caption and audio described performances during the season. The audio described performance of Thom Pain (based on nothing) is scheduled for Saturday, November 17 at 2PM. The open caption performance of Thom Pain (based on nothing) is scheduled for Sunday, November 18 at 2PM.
