SHELBY COMPANY and Artistic Director, DAN MOYER, are pleased to announce Great SCoT, the company's premiere series of three full-length plays by emerging writers, plus additional plays in the SCoT Free reading series. The three shows will play a two-week limited engagement at the Access Theater (380 Broadway, 4th Floor). Performances begin Wednesday, January 20th, and continue through Sunday, January 31st. Opening Night is Friday January 22nd and Saturday January 23rd. Press is invited to all performances.

Moyer, who is the playwright of You May Be Splendid Now, says of Great SCoT, Shelby Company is dedicated entirely to new work. We are a playwright-centered theatre, and Great SCoT is a clear example of our values and beliefs as a group put new plays on their feet. Plain and simple. We believe new work should be seen. Too often, wonderfully challenging plays end at a staged-reading and nothing further. What we've put together is a program of unexpected, weird, thrilling plays by some of NYC's sharpest young talent. I cannot be more excited for what we have in store. Please join us for the first annual "Great SCoT: New Plays!"
