STAGE TUBE: CLINTON: THE MUSICAL Provides Tony Campaign Update

The cast of Off-Broadway's CLINTON THE MUSICAL have launched a new web series, providing updates on the 2015 Tony Campaigns! Check out the first video!

It's 1992. Scrunchies are in and mullets are out. 'Baywatch' is a hit and Time Magazine's Man of the Year is Bill Clinton. He's optimistic, charismatic, and he's bringing saxy back! Clinton the Musical is a sensational and satirical look at the 42nd President who upholds the ideals of Lady Liberty while simultaneously charming the pantsuit off her. With Hillary by his side, he's bringing new life to the party. Clinton The Musical, the new headline making musical by Paul Hodge and Michael Hodgebegan performances on March 25, 2015. Directed and choreographed by Tony Award nominee Dan Knechtges, Clinton The Musical opened earlier this week at New World Stages (340 West 50 Street). Check out photos from the special night below!

The cast features Tony Award nominee Kerry Butler as Hillary (Rodham) Clinton, Tom Galantich (Tail! Spin!, Dirty Rotten Scoundrels) as WJ Clinton and Duke Lafoon (MONICA! The Musical, A Wonderful Life) as Billy Clinton, Emmy Award winner Judy Gold as Eleanor Roosevelt, John Treacy Egan (Nice Work if you Can Get It, Sister Act) as Newt Gingrich, Veronica J. Kuehn (Mamma Mia!, Avenue Q) as Monica Lewinsky, Kevin Zak (Silence! The Musical, My Life is a Musical) as Kenneth Starr withKara Guy (National Tour: Footloose), Dale Hensley (La Cage aux Folles, The Drowsy Chaperone), Rob Richardson (Jekyll & Hyde, A Tale of Two Cities), and Gretchen Wylder (Bedbugs!!!, Til Divorce Do Us Part).

The creative team includes Tony Award Winner, Beowulf Boritt (Scenic Design), Paul Miller (Lighting Design) and Tony Award Nominee, David Woolard (Costume Design) along with Peter Fitzgerald(Sound Design), Tom Watson(Hair and Wig Design), James Dobinson (Musical Direction), Michael Rico Cohen (Production Stage Manager) andNeil Reilly (Orchestrations).
