STAGE TUBE: Behind the Bites: AVAC MEMORIES Part of SOUND BITES 2014

Over 80 writers, directors, actors and musicians will present 10 unique musical shorts at SOUND BITES: a one-night-only off-Broadway event. Behind the Bites introduces the creators of the musicals featured at SOUND BITES with sneak peeks from the rehearsal process.

The technological marvel that is Roosevelt Island's AVAC sanitation system has been given a thrill ride of a musical treatment! Frederick Alden Terry and John Herrin explain how the unique system works and how it relates to the people of New York while the cast sings from the exciting score.

AVAC Memories has book and lyrics by John Herin, music by Frederick Alden Terry, direction by Dev Bondarin, and music direction by Jeff Theiss. The cast is Aaron Riesebeck (Sock), Sarah Corey (Banana Peel), Jennifer Blood (Flab Master 5000), Greg Horton (Salami), and Steven Eng (Newspaper).
