Roundabout's 'Bette and Boo' Begins Previews Tonight

Roundabout Theatre Company's (Todd Haimes, Artistic Director) Off-Broadway production of THE MARRIAGE OF BETTE AND BOO will begin previews tonight Thursday, June 12th at 7:30 PM. The Marriage of Bette and Boo is written by Christopher Durang, directed by Walter Bobbie and features Terry Beaver, Heather Burns, Victoria Clark, John Glover, Kate Jennings Grant, Julie Hagerty, Adam LeFevre, Zoe Lister-Jones , Charles Socarides, Christopher Evan Welch.

THE MARRIAGE OF BETTE AND BOO  will open officially on Sunday, July 13th, 2008 at the Laura Pels Theatre at the Harold and Miriam Steinberg Center for Theatre (111 West 46th Street).  This is a limited engagement through September 7th, 2008.

The design team includes David Korins (Sets), Susan Hilferty (Costumes), Donald Holder (Lights) and Acme Sound Partners (Sound).

THE MARRIAGE OF BETTE AND BOO  is a dark comedy that takes a look at the complex marriage of Bette and Boo.  Three decades of marriage, divorce, alcoholism, nervous breakdowns and death – all blended in a unique mix of irony, humor and farce – are played out in 33 quick scenes.

THE MARRIAGE OF BETTE AND BOO  will play Tuesday through Saturday evening at 7:30 p.m. with Wednesday, Saturday and Sunday matinees at 2:00 p.m.
