Off-Broadway's eleven-time Obie Award winning Soho Rep - which the New York Times calls the "downtown powerhouse" - continues its 2010-2011 season with JOMAMA JONES * RADIATE - a once in a lifetime performance event, featuring soul super star Jomama Jones and the Sweet Peaches, directed by Kym Moore with music direction by Bobby Halvorson. Previews of JOMAMA JONES * RADIATE began December 29 prior to an official press opening set for January 4 at Soho Rep. (46 Walker Street) in Manhattan.
Jomama Jones - the dynamic and legendary soul singer/songwriter last seen in NY at Joe's Pub - makes her U.S. comeback next month at Soho Rep and kicks off a national tour with her newest show, JOMAMA JONES * RADIATE. A tale that speaks to the "comeback" in all of us, JOMAMA JONES * RADIATE combines Jomama's unique style of story and song, inviting theatre goers to share her journey into the unknown.
