Photo Flash: First Look at RING TWICE FOR MIRANDA Off-Broadway

Ring Twice for Miranda, a new play written by Alan Hruska (Laugh It Up, Stare It Down; The Man on Her Mind; New House under Construction) and directed by Rick Lombardo (San Jose Rep Artistic Director from 2008-2014, The Snow Queen, Bill W. and Dr. Bob) is currently in previews at New York City Center Stage II (131 West 55th Street between 6th and 7th Avenues) and officially opens on February 12th. Ring Twice for Miranda is a tragi-comedy set in difficult times, roiled by economic upheavals. A man known only as Sir rules with a vengeance, but it's Miranda, a chambermaid, who adds intrigue to his life. When Elliot, the butler, is fired, she flees with him in defiance onto the frightening streets. All must soon make critical decisions with imperfect facts to guide them, since little in their world is as it appears.

Ring Twice for Miranda features scenic design by Jason Sherwood (Taming of the Shrew - Shakespeare Theatre Company, Paint Your Wagon), costume design by Ann Hould-Ward (Beauty and the Beast, Into The Woods, A Catered Affair), lighting design by Matthew Richards (Grey Gardens, Grace), sound design by Rick Lombardo, andoriginal music by Haddon Kime (The Snow Queen, A Streetcar Named Desire).
