WHAT WAS LOST, chronicling Laurette Taylor's journey from the first rehearsal for The Glass Menagerie through her legendary performance, will be presented this May at New York City's Clarion Theatre. BroadwayWorld has a first look at the cast in action below!

In WHAT WAS LOST, Laurette Taylor returns to the stage after a six-year hiatus. For the first time in over a decade, she is sober. Chronicling Taylor's process from the first rehearsal through her legendary first performance as Amanda Wingfield, WHAT WAS LOST is a piercing look at the lies we tell ourselves in order to survive.

WHAT WAS LOST is part of the month-long festival of five plays by Steven Carl McCasland running in repertory from tonight, May 7 through May 31 at The Clarion Theatre. Each play focuses on a different real-life story, with a cast of 25 portraying some of history's most intriguing characters. View the trailer here.

The cast of WHAT WAS LOST features Pennylynn White as Laurette Taylor, Paul Thomas Ryan as Tennessee Williams, Colin Fisher as Eddie Dowling, Kristen Gehling as Margo Jones, Kimberly Faye Greenberg as Marguerite, Rachel Adams as Julie Haydon/Ruby and Brian Piehl as Randolph Echols.

WHAT WAS LOST is directed by Steven Carl McCasland. Lighting design is by Molly Tied. Costume design is by Somie Pak. Hailli Ridsdale is the production stage manager.

The performance schedule for WHAT WAS LOST is as follows: Friday, May 8 at 8pm; Sunday, May 10 at 2pm; Wednesday, May 13 at 7pm; Thursday, May 14 at 7pm; Wednesday, May 20 at 2pm; Saturday, May 23 at 5pm; Thursday, May 28 at 7pm; Saturday, May 30 at 5pm; and Sunday, May 31 at 7pm.
