Photo Flash: IN THE SECRET SEA, Directed by Martin Charnin, Opens Tonight at Theatre Row
In The Secret Sea, a new American play by Cate Ryan (The Picture Box) and directed by Tony Award winner Martin Charnin (Annie), is currently playing a five-week-only limited engagement at The Beckett Theatre on Theatre Row. The cast of In The Secret Sea features Shelly Burch (original company of Nine, "One Life to Live"), Paul Carlin (Temporal Powers at the Mint), Malachy Cleary (The Field at Irish Repertory Theatre), Glynnis O'Connor (TV's Our Town, "The Boy in the Plastic Bubble"), and Adam Petherbridge (Da at Irish Repertory Theatre).
In the play, a newly married couple and their parents confront a life and death decision. The outcome will change all of their lives forever.
The creative team includes Beowulf Boritt and Alexis Distler (scenic design), Ken Billington (lighting design), and Suzy Benzinger (costume design). In The Secret Sea is produced by Wellington Road, LLC.
