Peter Michael Marino's SHOW UP Joins 59E59's 'East to Edinburgh' Lineup

International solo performing artist Peter Michael Marino (Desperately Seeking the Exit, Late with Lance!) brings his newest creation, Show Up, to the annual East to Edinburgh Festival at 59E59 Theaters for three performances July 11, 18 & 22.

This comedic, anti-social experiment and improvised solo show is based on the odd, enlightening and troubling life experiences of members of the audience while also examining social-anxiety and depression challenges. It both spoofs and celebrates what we know to be a one-person show.

Says creator Peter Michael Marino, "Rehearsal is overrated. After writing, memorizing and performing my other shows for years at dozens of fringe festivals from Hollywood to Edinburgh to Adelaide, I've decided to just show up and make one happen on the spot. The audience not only provides the content of the show by sharing their wonderful and challenging life experiences, but they also lend a hand in the set and sound design, while steering the direction. And, there's a party."
