On Tuesday, July 30th, the hit off-Broadway show Potted Potter will celebrate the birthday of "Harry Potter" and J.K.Rowling at the 7:30PM performance.

"Harry" and J.K. share a birthday on Wednesday, July 31st. Since they live in the UK, five hours ahead of NY, Potted Potter will celebrate their birthday on Tuesday evening in order to be the first to wish them a "happy birthday."

The audience attending the performance on Tuesday, July 30th will be invited to participate in the birthday celebration (cake, wands, pottering and singing!) immediately following the 7:30PM performance.

The return engagement of Potted Potter: The Unauthorized Harry Experience - A Parody by Dan and Jeff is currently playing at the Little Shubert Theatre (422 West 42nd Street). The limited 13-week New York engagement runs through Sunday, September 1st, 2013.

Potted Potter is written and performed by Daniel Clarkson and Jefferson Turner with direction by Richard Hurst. The creative team includes Simon Scullion(Sets), Tim Mascall (Lighting), Phil Innes (Music), Richard Hurst (additional material) and Hanna Berrigan (Associate Director).

Corey Ross/Starvox Entertainment and James Seabright/Potted Productions are the producers of Potted Potter: The Unauthorized Harry Experience - A Parody by Dan and Jeff.

In addition to being a critic's pick by the New York Times, New York Magazine and Time Out London, the show received the prestigious 2012 Olivier Award nomination for Best Entertainment & Family Show, playing to sold out houses worldwide.

Written and performed by former BBC Television hosts Daniel Clarkson and Jefferson Turner, the play takes on the ultimate challenge of condensing, or "potting" all seven Harry Potter books into 70 madcap minutes, aided only by multiple costume changes, brilliant songs, ridiculous props and a generous helping of Hogwarts magic. The show also invites audiences to engage with a real life game of Quidditch, according to Clarkson and Turner's unique set of rules.

Tickets are available by calling Telecharge at (212)239-6200 and online at telecharge.com. Tickets are also available at the Little Shubert Theatre (422 West 42ndStreet). Tickets prices range from $39.99-$79.99.
