Open Auditions Held for CAPA's TONY N' TINA'S WEDDING, 12/11 & 12/12

CAPA is seeking actors and actresses for major roles in the upcoming Off-Broadway production of Tony n' Tina's Wedding to be performed in the Cardinal Health Ballroom at the Lincoln Theatre January 20-30, 2011.

Tony n' Tina's Wedding is an interactive, Off-Broadway show that spoofs an Italian-American wedding, complete with a pre-show cash bar, a ceremony and reception full of mishaps and mad-cap comedy, and a buffet dinner with wedding cake, music, and dancing.

Auditions are scheduled for Saturday, December 11, and Sunday, December 12, from 12-4pm daily in Room 2 at the Ohio Theatre (55 E. State St., 43215). Production seeks men and women ages 19-60 with very outgoing personalities. No experience necessary, but improvisational skills and acting experience is helpful.

Auditions will be interviews and some actors will be asked to improvise. Interested parties must RSVP by 4pm on December 10, 2010, to tonytinacolumbus@gmail.com with name, email address, and phone number. Audition date and time will be assigned via email. No phone calls, please. Auditioning actors are asked to bring a headshot (or recent photo) and resume.

Actors must be available for all rehearsals and performances. Rehearsal schedule will be provided at the audition. This is an excellent opportunity to work with professional actors from the New York production. This is a non-Equity production. Pay involved.
