Ohio West Theatre Moves to Archive Building

By: Feb. 21, 2011

According to a report by the New York Times, the recently closed Ohio Theatre, which was run by SoHo Think Tank, will open in the Archive Building on Greenwich Street in the fall. The company left its old Wooster Street building in 2010 after failing to negotiate rent with its new landlord.

The new building will feature a 73 seat theatre and will host the Ice Factory festival in the summer.

Soho Think Tank nurtures, strengthens, and promotes an aesthetically and culturally diverse community of independent theatre artists and theatre companies by producing, presenting, and programming new work at the Ohio Theater, in Soho. STT was founded in 1994 by playwright/director Robert Lyons.
