Hailed as "A sensational powerhouse of a singer packed in a lithe body" by Variety, New York's own N'Kenge will debut her new show "DivaLicious" at The Triad. N'Kenge will pay homage to the sizzling singing divas of yesterday and today featuring music from 70's Disco, Broadway, Opera, Motown and more. Special featured guests include Karla Mosley from CBS's ‘Guiding Light" and Curtis Wiley from the musical "The Lion King," along with award-winning musicians including Bassist/Guitarist Danny Miranda from the band Queen and Blue Oyster Cult.

N'Kenge had the honor of performing for President Barack Obama at the Commander-in-Chief's Inaugural Ball, and sang "God Bless America" on national television for the Los Angeles Dodgers opening game, arranged by legendary Motown founder, Berry Gordy Jr.
A multifaceted young star, N'Kenge is noted both for her vocal range, versatility and show-stopping stage presence. This triple-threat's musical talents span from Opera to Pop, and is a recent graduate of the prestigious The Juilliard School, sings in 11 languages, seven musical genres and is an actress and dancer. She was nominated for Best Actress in Elton John's musical "Aida" and Marion Caffey's "3 Mo' Divas" and starred in West End's "The Genius of Ray Charles." N'Kenge made her cabaret debut in her own show -"Last Diva Standing" - which sold-out at the Metropolitan Room.

This year promises to be extremely busy for N'Kenge. She recently returned from performing at the Sporting Club in Monte Carlo and will make her Carnegie Hall debut with the New York Pops Orchestra in November, headlining with Michael Feinstein and Ann Hampton Calloway. She will also perform with the Detroit Symphony Orchestra, Baltimore Symphony, and star in a holiday concert with the Cincinnati Symphony Pops Orchestra.

"DivaLicious" will be performed at The Triad . Tickets are $15.00 in advance at www.theatermania.com, or call 212-352-3101. Admission is $20.00 at the door. There will be a two drink minimum.
