THE MUSICAL THEATER INITIATIVE PRESENTS: a Sneak previews of ERNEST SHACKLETON LOVES ME, FEBRUARY HOUSE, and new work by Pasek and Paul. Monday, October 5 at 7:00 PM
The Public Theater's Musical Theater Initiative presents its first Songwriter Showcase. The evening will feature Valerie Vigoda performing excerpts from ERNEST SHAKLETON LOVES ME by Vigoda and GrooveLily bandmate Brendan Milburn, songs from the upcoming musical FEBRUARY HOUSE by MTI Fellow Gabriel Kahane and Seth Bockley, and new work from the Jonathan Larson Award-winning team of Benj Pasek and Justin Paul. Join MTI Director Ted Sperling for a glimpse at the future of new music theater. $20 in advance, $25 at the door.
