Mike Birbiglia Celebrates Sleepwalk With Me Live At Barrow Street

Mike Birbiglia's new CD "Sleepwalk With Me Live" will be released by Comedy Central Records on April 19th and to celebrate the occasion, Comedy Central and Mike want audience members of his new off-Broadway play My Girlfriend's Boyfriend to live the dream as well. At the April 20th performance of the critically acclaimed show at The Barrow Street Theater, all audience members will receive a free autographed CD.

In 2008, Mike teamed up with award-winning director Seth Barrish in the stage show Sleepwalk With Me, which was presented by Nathan Lane. The New York Times praised Birbiglia's Off-Broadway hit as "simply perfect." The show won the Nightlife Award for Outstanding Engagement by a Comedian and received Drama Desk, Lucille Lortel, and Outer Critics' Circle Award nominations as Best Solo Show. The play transcended joke-to-joke comedy and wove humor into a single, compelling story. "Sleepwalk With Me Live" invites listeners to re-live Mike's hilarious stories as well as the infamous night in the hotel room in Walla Walla, Washington.

This play was the basis for Mike's New York Times Best Selling memoir Sleepwalk With Me (Simon and Schuster, 2010) and a 2010 National Comedy tour.
