Michael McQuary To Guest Star in THE COMPLETE PERFORMER May 14

The producers behind The Complete Performer announced today that actor Michael McQuary will join the production for one-night only: Saturday, May 14, 2011 at 10:00 pm; at the SoHo Playhouse (15 Vandam Street) in New York City. McQuary will play The Mascot, the comic foil to star, TEd Greenberg; in this mostly one-man comedy.

The Complete Performer is now in its third season Off Broadway, playing in the SoHo Playhouse's Huron Club. Emmy-winning former David Letterman writer and comic TEd Greenberg performs one hour of boisterous, interactive comedy. For the show-stopping finale, Greenberg drives one lucky audience group home in a licensed yellow taxi. Back Stage hailed the show as, "outrageously funny." The New York Post raved that it, "... will deliver laughs."

Actor Michael McQuary, known for his impersonations of Hollywood stars from the Golden Age; has had starring roles in films, including: Alchemy, The Diabolical Experiment; The Cruelty of Fu Manchu and The Strange Case of Mr. Jon A. McQuary is also a regular performer at Joe's Pub and The Duplex. He is a two-time Bistro Award winner, and was recently nominated for the Manhattan Association of Cabarets and Clubs (MAC) award for his work in Matinee Idol.

The SoHo Playhouse hosts The Complete Performer Saturday nights at 10:00 pm at the theatre's Huron Club (15 Vandam St., between 6th Ave. and Varick St., Subway: C/E to Spring or 1 to Houston).
