Jackie Hoffman's A CHANUKAH CAROL Begins Final Performances

Only two more weekends to see the new Holiday favorite, Jackie Hoffman's A Chanukah Charol, her holiday-themed, pseudo-autobiographical, one-woman show inspired by Patrick Stewart's A Christmas Carol. Co-writer Michael Schiralli directs.

Performances are Friday & Saturday evenings through December 29th, all at 8pm, at New World Stages, 340 West 50th Street (between Eighth & Ninth Avenues).

In her acclaimed holiday show, this kvetching comedienne is forced to examine her life when she is visited by the Ghosts of Chanukah Past, Present and Future, as well as Molly Picon. What she finds on her quest for fame is that she is a dark desperate diva who would give Scrooge a run for his money.

Jackie Hoffman currently stars on TV's "The New Normal." Most recently, she was seen on Broadway as Grandma in The Addams Family. Her other Broadway credits include Xanadu and Hairspray (for which she received the Theatre World Award). Off-Broadway she has been seen in Regrets Only, Pride & Joy, Book of Liz (Obie Award), Straightjacket, Incident at Cobbler's Knob, and One Woman Shoe. Regional credits include Second City (Jeff Award), Sisters Rosensweig. Films include Extra Man, Dirty Shame, Garden State, Legally Blonde II, Kissing Jessica Stein, Mo' Money, Robots, Queer Duck. Solo shows have garnered her MAC and Bistro awards.
