HOW TO BE A NEW YORKER Begins New Schedule 4/6
Earlier this month, the producers of the hit Off-Broadway comedy How To Be a New Yorker added an extra performance to the weekly playing schedule. Due to continuing increased demand for tickets, they are adding yet another performance to the schedule on Saturday evenings beginning April 6th at Sofia's Downstairs Theater in Times Square.
The show's writers and stars, Margaret Copeland and Kevin James Doyle, recently added an exciting new feature to the show's website called "Margaret & Kevin's NY Picks." This resource provides insider tips to their favorite interesting, unusual and offbeat hotspots in New York City. HOW TO BE A NEW YORKER delivers a laugh-filled tour around the greatest city in the world with Margaret Copeland and Kevin James Doyle as they play over 60 characters. Under the direction of OBIE Award winner Robert Ross Parker, this "Saturday Night Live" style comedy features a hilarious look at NYC's 400-year history. Immigrants, construction workers, muggers, Wall Street bankers, panhandlers, MTA workers, and Mayor Bloomberg all get a solid lampooning! HOW TO BE A NEW YORKER is produced Off-Broadway by CRC Productions and Marie B Productions. The new playing schedule is Thursdays & Fridays at 7:30 PM and Saturdays at 2 & 7:30 PM, and the running time is 65 minutes (with no intermission).
