Ars Nova (Jason Eagan, Artistic Director; Jon Steingart and Jenny Wiener Steingart, Executive Producers) announces four unmissable October events, featuring the return of Ars Nova all-stars Gavin Creel, Billy Eichner and The Striking Viking Story Pirates, as well as an original comedy written by Bekah Brunstetter (Oohrah!) and starring Lauren Blumenfeld (Sailor Man).

Gavin Creel with Robbie Roth and Friends

Sunday, October 4 @ 7pm; $25

Gavin Creel and Robbie Roth return to the stage where they first performed together in 2004, with an evening of songs from Creel's forthcoming sophomore record, Quiet, as well as old favorites sure to delight Ars Nova fans.

Friday, October 9 @ 8pm and 10pm; $20

The Story Pirates dig through the Lost and Found bin for this night of musical sketches based on the eponymous popular magazine. Imagining the stories behind lost gloves, discarded love letters, and even the audience's exciting finds, one man's trash is the Pirates' treasure.

Billy Eichner: Gay, White and Terrified!

Tuesday, October 13 @ 8pm and Wednesday, October 14 @ 8pm; $25

Closeted stars, hypocritical black Presidents and Facebook freaks beware, the insanely funny Billy Eichner is back to take you down! Known for his hilarious work on the Bravo A List Awards and fresh off his acclaimed Joe's Pub run, Ars Nova veteran Eichner (Creation Nation) unleashes his comic fury in this updated show, featuring new material especially created for his Ars Nova fans! Directed by Benjamin Salka.

We Are Not Birds! (Enjoy Your Flight!)

Thursday, October 15 @ 8pm; $15

Lauren Blumenfeld (Sailor Man) welcomes you aboard flight 1015! With her signature off-kilter delivery, Flight Attendant Blumenfeld asks you to fasten your seatbelt as she examines what it means to serve, be nice, be happy, and demand happiness from others. Enjoy your flight! Written by Bekah Brunstetter (Oohrah!) and directed by Stephen Brackett (Whore).
