DANNY & SYLVIA Offers 2 For 1 Ticket Promotion Thru 3/26

The producers of the long-running off-Broadway musical
"DANNY and SYLVIA: The Danny Kaye Musical" announced a special promotion now through March 26th, 2011. If your name is either DANNY or SYLVIA, you can get two tickets for the price of one. Just bring your proof of ID to the St. Luke's Box Office, 308 West 46th Street, at least 30 minutes prior to any performance beginning this Saturday, February 5th. (This offer is not valid for the February 12th performance.)

The musical love story starring Helen Hayes Award-winner Brian Childers as legendary entertainer Danny Kaye and Kimberly Faye Greenberg as his wife and creative partner, Sylvia Fine, continues at St. Luke's Theatre in the heart of New York's theatre district, on 46th Street west of 8th Avenue. Performances are Saturdays at 2 PM.

Directed by Pamela Hall with choreography by Gene Castle, the musical follows the duo from the time the young undisciplined comic Danny Kaminsky meets aspiring songwriter Sylvia Fine at an audition in the 1930s. Under Sylvia's guidance as mentor, manager and eventually, wife, Kaye rises from improvisational comic to international film star. The musical explores their inspired collaboration and the romance and conflict that made them such a volatile and successful couple. Many of Danny's hit songs are featured including "Tchaikovsky," "Anatole of Paris," "Minnie the Moocher" and "Deenah."

The musical's performance schedule is Saturdays at 2 PM. The musical, now in its second year off-Broadway, opened Wednesday, May 13th, 2009.
