COLIN QUINN: SMALL TALK Extension Begins Performances Tomorrow at Greenwich House Theater

Colin Quinn: Small Talk, a new comedy written by and starring Colin Quinn, extends and moves theaters to the Greenwich House Theater (27 Barrow Street). The limited engagement extension begins performances tomorrow, March 30 through May 6. Colin Quinn: Small Talk is produced by Mike Lavoie & Carlee Briglia and Brian Stern.

In his latest attempt at humor, Colin breaks down the one area he's actually gifted in: Personality. Mr. Quinn has been chatting it up with friends, family, municipal employees and counter people for his whole life and now he can teach you how to stop sucking the energy out of the room.

Colin said, "I'm doing this show because I'm fascinated with how personality in general (and individuals in particular) have fed into society. (Fascinated might be a strong word)."

Colin Quinn: Small Talk is directed by James Fauvell (Colin Quinn Red State Blue State), with set design by Zoë Hurvitz (Tomorrow Wil Take Care Of Itself), lighting design by Amina Alexander (Alex Edelman: Just For Us), and sound design by Margaret Montagna (A Woman of the World).

Critics are raving about Colin Quinn: Small Talk. The New York Times cheered, "An essential part of the off-Broadway landscape adding a much-needed bounty of jokes to the regular theatrical menu. His gift, and greatest comic subject, is the comedy of language." The Wall Street Journal applauded, "Bitingly and Bracingly Funny! Much standup-style comedy is merely complaining while entertaining, and Mr. Quinn is a master of the form." Performances run Tuesday - Friday at 7:00PM, Saturday at 3:00PM and 7:00PM, and Sunday at 2:00PM and 5:00PM.
