Bob Cline On Board For VP BOYLE At (le) poisson rouge

By:

Bob Cline, director of White's Lies, and MARK FIFER, music director, are now on board for VP Boyle @ (le) poisson rouge. Bob is a professor at NYC's Pace University, in charge of the Senior Musical Theatre majors in the BFA program. All three shows he has directed for the Vital Theatre Company have been nominated and/or won the Sam French Festival. Other acclaimed or favorite productions include Crimes of the Heart; Violet; Song for a New World; A Christmas Carol, (all above nominated, best director) and A New Brain (winner, best director). Cline is also a full time casting director here in NYC, and has helped to populate over 60 national tours, hundreds of regional theatre productions, film, TV and commercials.

Mark Fifer is a music director, vocal coach, arranger and composer in New York City. With roots in the classical and pop/rock idioms, and making all stops in-between, he brings unique perspectives to the business of singing on stage. Mark has served as music director on NYC and regional productions of Rent (Regional Premiere), The 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee, Cabaret, Bare, and more. Mark has been Staff Music Director for the BFA Musical Theatre program at Pace University since 2004, and is a guest lecturer at the Stella Adler Studio of Acting.

With Cline and Fifer at the helm, VP BOYLE, well-known in the Broadway community for his stylistically wide-ranging vocal abilities, returns to the stage to celebrate all things theatrical. With a fearless approach to the light and dark of everything, Boyle rides an eclectic roller coaster of music ranging from Bublé to DeGraw to Sondheim. Expect irreverent surprises throughout the show including a dozen Broadway vocalists rocking out a fierce Queen medley. SHARON KENNY who launched her album, Pianocentric, to a sold-out performance at (le) poisson rouge will open the show with a sneak-peek of her latest release. Red Carpet hosted by DANIEL STAGLIANO.
