Bell and Bowen Express Wishes for [title of show] Bway Run

On the pilot episode of the "[title of show] show," on the website of the recent Off-Broadway hit, show creators Hunter Bell and Jeff Bowen state that they're aiming for a Broadway run of [title of show].

Bell and Bowen say: "A lot of people have asked what's going to happen to [title of show] and the answer is...[title of show] is going to Broadway."  Although they admit that "we don't know how, we don't know when, or where," the show creators state that they would like for [title of show] to be among the musicals playing on Broadway during the 2007-2008 season.

According to Bell and Bowen, 13 episodes have been ordered for the "[title of show] show."

The musical [title of show] played a hit, extended run last year at Off-Broadway's Vineyard Theatre (108 East 15th Street). [title of show] - "a hilarious and bittersweet musical about the creative process and the indomitable spirit of two struggling writers and two struggling actresses who take on the seemingly impossible task of writing a new musical in just three weeks," as press notes described the show - is written by Bell and Bowen.  They were featured in the cast, as well, joined by Susan Blackwell and Heidi BlickenstaffLarry Pressgrove was musical director.  [title of show] was directed and choreographed by Michael Berresse.  Bowen, Bell and Berresse received 2006 Obie Awards for their work on [title of show].
