The hit comedy Buyer & Cellar will play its 200th performance at the Barrow Street Theatre on Sunday, December 15, at 7:30pm. The production, which recouped its initial investment faster than any off-Broadway show in recent memory, continues to break box office records.

Michael Urie, who received the Drama Desk and Clarence Derwent awards for his acclaimed performance, is set to reprise his role next year in Chicago (April 29 - May 25) and Los Angeles (July 9 - August 17).

Buyer & Cellar had its world premiere in April 2013 at Rattlestick Playwrights Theater, where it received rave reviews and played a sold-out, extended run before transferring to the Barrow Street Theatre where it opened June 24, 2013.

Buyer & Cellar, starring Michael Urie ("Ugly Betty"), written by Jonathan Tolins, and directed by Stephen Brackett, plays Friday through Wednesday at 7:30pm; Saturday and Sunday at 2:30pm at the Barrow Street Theatre, 27 Barrow Street, east of Seventh Avenue South. There are no performances December 24, December 25, and January 1, and added performances on Wednesday, December 18 at 2:30pm and Thursday, January 2 at 7:30pm. Tickets, which are now on sale through April 13, may be purchased by phoning 212 868-4444 or by visiting www.smarttix.com. The Barrow Street Theatre box office opens daily at 1pm.
