Feisty 18-year-old Katie is thrust on a white-knuckle ride through one extraordinary evening when her boyfriend is attacked on the street. Amidst the baying for blood and the longing for love, Katie is forced to decide her future. Coming to New York direct from the Soho Theatre in London, this Fringe First Award-winning production is an unflinching, heartbreakingly vulnerable look at the complexities of growing up and the complications of racial diversity in Britain today.

One of Britain's most exhilarating young playwrights, Jack Thorne, who came into prominence for his work on the controversial BBC series Skins, cements his reputation as a "powerful voice for Britain's youth" (The Independent).

The set and costume design is by HannaH Clark. Video design is by Ian William Galloway. Illustrations are by Jenny Turner.

Rosie Wyatt (performer) made her professional debut in Bunny (nabokov, Edinburgh and UK tour) when she was cast straight out of the Royal Welsh College of Music and Drama, and her credits also include Love, Love, Love (Paines Plough, UK Tour). She was a nominee for the 2010 Spotlight Prize.

Jack Thorne's (playwright) plays for stage include When You Cure Me (Bush Theatre), Stacy (Arcola & Trafalgar Studios) and 2nd May 1997 (produced by nabokov with the Bush Theatre, in London and on tour). His work for television includes Fades, a new brand new BBC3 sci-fi drama broadcast in September 2011, Skins, Shameless, Cast-Offs (co-written with Tony Roche & Alex Bulmer) and This is England ‘86 (co-written with Shane Meadows). His first feature film The Scouting Book for Boys won Jack the Star of London Best Newcomer award at the London Film Festival, and is currently on release.

Joe Murphy (director) is Artistic Director of nabokov. His credits include Young Pretender (nabokov, Edinburgh), The Boy on the Swing (Arcola), The Right Thing (Liverpool Everyman/Election Special). As associate/resident director his credits include Ghost Stories (Duke of York's Theatre) and Punk Rock (Lyric Hammersmith).
