The producers and creative team behind the new Off-Broadway musical BRUNCH - The Musical - currently playing at the Chernuchin Theatre (314 West 54th Steet) - have decided to give back to those who inspired the creation of their show; the waiters, chefs, managers, and bartenders of New York. Therefore, on Sunday, April 12th the 8:00pm performance will be free to anyone currently working in the restaurant industry...and who brings an apron. BRUNCH - The Musical will officially open on Thursday, April 9.

BRUNCH - The Musical is a new rock musical about the New York City restaurant scene from the eyes of those who do the serving. It's about the daily grind, specials, romances, firings, tips and VIPs that inhabit every restaurant, bistro, café and diner in the city. BRUNCH follows a cast of characters -- waiters, bartenders and managers -- through the most hectic shift of the week, from the first cup of coffee to the last reservation at the tension-filled, comically riotous, patience-trying shift at the end of the restaurant week - Brunch!

BRUNCH - The Musical has music & lyrics by Rick Kunzi, book by Mr. Kunzi & Adam Barnosky, and is directed by Rick Kunzi.

Meghann Dreyfuss (currently in MAMMA MIA! on Broadway); Kevin T. Collins (ANGELS - The Musical); and Maxx Mann (lead singer of the rock orchestra TRANS SIBERIAN ORCHESTRA) will lead the cast of BRUNCH - The Musical, which also includes: Cara Babich, Nikki Curmaci, Tony Edgerton, Judah Frank, Collin Frazier, Martin Landry, Bryan Lesnick, Kenneth Linsley, Jo Beth Locklear, Dana Musgrove, Chris White, Dana Wilson, and Josh Woodie.

Design team for BRUNCH - The Musical is Christian Deangelis (Lighting); Caleb Levengood (Set); Emily Deangelis (Costume). Choreography is by Sabrina Jacob and musical direction is by Martin Landry.

BRUNCH - The Musical co-creators Rick Kunzi and Adam Barnosky are also the creators of the new musical WELCOME WEEK. BRUNCH opens Off-Broadway, having been developed previously in workshop productions in Detroit in 2007 and at The Wild Project in NYC last year.

Scheduled April 2 through April 25, performances of BRUNCH - The Musical run Thursdays -Sundays at 8:00pm at The American Theatre of Actors' Chernuchin Theatre (314 West 54th Street - btw. 8th & 9th Avenues).
