666 To Play Final Performance at the Manetta Lane Theatre 5/30

666, the outrageous and demented physical comedy presented by Psycoductions (Juan Urrutia, Producer), and Moonglow Productions (Aldo Scrofani, Executive Producer), in association with Producciones Yllana, will end its Off-Broadway engagement on Sunday, May 30, 2010 at 7:00 p.m. at The Minetta Lane Theater (18 Minetta Lane, NYC). To ensure that as many people as possible can have a chance to experience this raved-about production in its final week, all remaining tickets are now priced at just $24.

666 marks the Off-Broadway debut of Spain's internationally acclaimed, multi-award-winning comedy theater troupe Yllana (ee - YA - na) following its smash hit, jaw-dropping, sometimes cringe-inducing, and altogether gut-bustlingly funny run at New York's Fringe Festival last summer. Performances began March 30, 2010, with the official opening on April 15, 2010. Due to the overwhelmingly positive critical response, plans are afoot to transfer to another venue in the near future.

Directed by David Ottone, and currently starring Raul Cano, Joel Farrell, Jeff LaGreca and Lance Windish, 666 elevates physical comedy (in the grand tradition of Commedia dell'Arte) to its highest form, and sends it screaming into the 21st Century. One of the wildest and most unique productions to hit stages in years, 666 will stop short at nothing to astound, shock, and delight its audience.

One of Europe's most talked about and acclaimed comedy theater troupes, Yllana has played throughout the world, and in their native Spain where their year-round theater, The Alfil, presents the company's many original works (666 has been a popular sold-out attraction at the Madrid venue for over 10 years). Yllana was born in 1991 as a physical comedy theatre company. Through gestures, sounds and genuine slapstick, Yllana creates its work out of the most common situations of everyday life, combining huge energy with wit and risk.
