Time Stands Still by Donald Margulies follows photojournalist Sarah and her partner, James, a correspondent, as they navigate their relationship and careers after Sarah returns from a war zone injured. Set in Brooklyn, the play explores themes of love, commitment, and the ethical dilemmas of journalism. As Sarah's passion for capturing war conflicts with James' desire for a stable life, their relationship is tested. The play delves into the impact of trauma and the struggle to balance personal fulfillment with professional duty.

We picked this play because we want to focus more on the international mission of our company. This play discusses international affairs from the American perspective and is more aligned with the audiences who see our theater, who don't see much war in their day-to-day lives and live so far away from it.

Mandy is traditionally a woman; 21-30
