THE SOUND INSIDE BY ADAM RAPP - Drama Works Theatre Non Equity Auditions

Drama Works Theatre (Old Saybrook, CT) seeks a non-union actor to play CHRISTOPHER DUNN in The Sound Inside by Adam Rapp. A riveting miracle play that explores the limits of what one person can ask of another, this two-person play was presented on Broadway in 2019.

CHRISTOPHER is a somewhat self-absorbed Yale freshman with the ambition of becoming a writer. He enjoys sardonic humor and hates the internet--especially Twitter. He dislikes writing with his computer and so writes in longhand. He is not bothered by solitude. His relationship with Bella Baird, his creative writing professor, evolves into a friendship as he becomes more serious and honest.

Performances will be December 4, 5, 6, 11, 12, 13. Rehearsals will begin late October.
