Auditions for THE ANDROID’S NEW SOUL, A New Sci-Fi Rock Musical

“In a post-apocalyptic landscape, a scientist reprograms an android to be her boyfriend.”

Auditions: Sunday, May 19 - 10am to 5pm

Requirements

  • Prepare to sing up to 32 bars of a rock/pop song from the 70’s OR from any rock musical like Tommy, JC Superstar, Rock of Ages, Hedwig, American Idiot, Jagged Little Pill, Rent, etc.)

  • Bring the following with you to the audition:
    • Current headshot (or picture)
    • Current resume
    • Appropriate sheet music in the correct key (pianist will be provided) No tracks/acappella
    • A list of potential rehearsal conflicts (see calendar in Upload Link below)

Please ensure that you have no performance conflicts prior to auditioning. Performance conflicts will not be accepted for this production. Additional rehearsal conflicts will not be accepted once a role has been offered.

REHEARSALS: August 4- September 5. PERFORMANCES: September 6 – September 15, 2024


CAST BREAKDOWN LINK: Looking for strong singer-actors-movers aged 18+. People of all races, ethnicities, abilities/disabilities, and sexual/gender identities are welcome and encouraged to audition.

All roles are paid a $600 rehearsal stipend and a $60 per show rate. Non Equity
