Sister Act, with music by Alan Menken, lyrics by Glenn Slater, and book by Bill and Cheri Steinkellner, tells the story of a woman hiding in a convent who helps her fellow sisters find their voices as she rediscovers her own. This feel-good musical comedy smash based on the hit 1992 film has audiences jumping to their feet!
Auditionees are asked to sing at least a 32 bar cut of a song in the style of the show.

Sister Mary Robert
A postulant, abandoned as a baby and raised at the convent. Shy and soft-spoken, but singing with Deloris lets her find her voice. Her wallflower lifestyle has made her live a shell of a life.

A nun of the convent and the head of the choir. Rather deadpan and the least welcoming of any of the nuns, but she gets caught up in Deloris’s soul music.
