SEALED WITH A KISS - Vagabond Repertory Theater Company Non Equity Auditions

We are seeking three actresses to be part of an opportunity to be in a workshop of an original one act play entitled Sealed with a Kiss, to be performed on stage in Staten Island, NY either in April or May of 2023.

Premise: Leo is a seemingly ordinary guy who loves love! He is a fan or relationships, and he especially is fond of kissing and being kissed.....yet, as he'll explain to a woman he meets at a bar one night, Pamela, most of his life, any time he's been kissed, bad luck seems to follow him...

This will be a paid opportunity of a 300.00 stipend for the performance.

Rehearsals will begin on Zoom, then transition to live rehearsals. As this will be an open book reading workshop, memorization of lines isn't needed.

Please note: There are instances of kissing on the lips in this play. The director advises all performers who wish to audition to be comfortable with this before putting in for an audition.

Roles needed:

1. Pamela: Any race, Age 30-32: A woman Leo meets at a bar to start our story, who is the constant listener of Leo's tales. She is a kind, attractive, girl next door type.

2. Gwendolyn: Any race, Age 28-32: A bewitching, seductive woman, straight out of a Gothic Victorian dream. Despite her dress style and unusual ways, she's very attractive, and she seems to have eyes for Leo. She may or may not be a vampiress.

3. Lana: Any race, Age 30-32: She works at a 1950's themed diner, and she plays the part very well, almost as if she truly was transported from that era to the present. She is a tough, no nonsense woman, but has a seductive side when she wants to. She eyes Leo to make her unseen (but apparently very imposing and tough) boyfriend “Vito” jealous.
