I LOVE YOU, YOU'RE PERFECT, NOW CHANGE - Stage 62 Non Equity Auditions

AUDITIONS: I Love You, You're Perfect, Now Change at Stage 62!
We are looking for comedic actor/singers to perform this hilarious and heartfelt show all about the highs and lows of dating, relationships, and love.

The longest-running off-Broadway revue in history has been revised for the 21st century! This celebration of the mating game takes on the truths and myths behind that contemporary conundrum known as “the relationship.” Through sketches and songs, Act I explores the journey from dating and waiting to love and marriage, while Act II reveals the agonies and triumphs of in-laws and newborns, trips in the family car, and pick-up techniques of the geriatric set. This hilarious revue pays tribute to those who have loved and lost, to those who have fallen on their face at the portal of romance, to those who have dared to ask, “Say, what are you doing Saturday night?”

Friday, February 28, 6:30-9:30 PM
Saturday, March 1, 10:00 AM-12:30 PM & 1:30-4:00 PM

CALLBACKS:
Sunday, March 2, 11:30 AM

AUDITION REQUIREMENTS:

• 18 years or older
• 16-32 bars from two contrasting comedic songs - Think outside the box! Even if a song is not typically funny, show us your comedic twist!
• Be prepared for short cold readings

We strongly encourage you to schedule an audition slot ahead of time but will accommodate walk-ins.

Auditions will run in groups of 6 every 15 minutes. Please choose a slot from the available times. If the selection is active, there is room for you in that time slot. If it is grayed out and not selectable, the time slot is full. Please choose another time. Plan to arrive 5-10 minutes before your chosen date/time and check in at the lobby table to avoid undue crowding.

In-person auditions are preferred, but video submissions will be accepted. Be aware that attendance at callbacks is required. If you need to submit a video audition it must be sent by 4:00 PM on Saturday, March 1 - please contact productions@stage62.org.

REHEARSALS:
Rehearsals are set to begin the week of March 9. There will be 3-4 rehearsals per week.

PERFORMANCES:
May 9-11 & 16-18
Fridays & Saturdays at 8:00 PM
Sundays at 2:00 PM
